Associations Between Maternal Stress and Infant Attachment Behaviors

This study investigates how maternal stress during pregnancy and postnatally influences infants' attachment behaviors at seven months. The study reveals a positive correlation between prenatal stress and infant resistance. Contrary to hypotheses, postnatal stress negatively correlates with infant resistance. This research's results challenge established theories, highlighting the need for further exploration.
