Effect of Hearing on Multi-Sensory Cue Combination

Semester: Spring 2023

Presentation description

We want to know how one's hearing is used in navigation. We measure this by running our participants through a VR homing task and directly compare auditory cues to vision, self-motion, and combined cues. Out of all the cues we believe that auditory cues will be the least accurate and most variable, and combined cues will be most accurate and least variable.
