Examining the Potential of Culturing Nematodes of the Great Salt Lake to Create Model System

Semester: Fall 2023

Presentation description

Culture nematodes found in the Great Salt Lake in order to create a model system. Due to the lake drying the number of nematodes was insufficient to create a model system. To create a model system you need a large number of healthy organisms to experiment culture conditions and more organisms may lead to a higher chance of success. The lake drying threatens nematodes. The lake needs intervention in order to create a model system.
