Making Permeant Magnets from a MnAl Alloy to Replace NdFeB Permeant Magnets

Presentation description

This research covers a survey of the potential of manganese and aluminum alloys as usable way to make permanent magnets instead of NdFeB magnets. This included researching previous work done on the subject, forming ingots in an electric arc furnace, and data collection through an x-ray diffractometer.
