The Wishbone Core: Identifying Sediment Components to Determine the Paleoclimate of Lake Bonneville

Semester: Fall 2023

Presentation description

The data obtained from the Wishbone Core, provided us with more insight into the climate of prehistoric Lake Bonneville during the Late Pleistocene and Early Holocene. To adequately reconstruct the climate of Lake Bonneville from its formation, and ensure precise dating from events, more data from lake sediment cores and other paleo-proxies needs to be collected and analyzed.
