General Information appointments with OUR's research advisor

  • Learn about the many programs OUR has to offer
  • Receive support on how to get started applications, how to find a mentor, or prepare for a presentation.
    • To prepare for this appointment, think about what you might be interested in researching here on campus. You do not need to have a comprehensive list, just an idea of where we can start looking for research that will be interesting to you and that will facilitate whatever your personal goals are.

UROP appointments:

  • Required for UROP scholars. Only for current UROP participants to fulfill their advising requirements. We’ll check in about your project, answer any questions you have about re-applying or applying for scholarships, and discuss additional OUR resources. The deadline for fall 2022 UROP participants to meet with an advisor is forthcoming.

You can also make an appointment to discuss any stage of your research project – project changes, posters and presentations, program requirements, etc. In any appointment, you can expect the Advisor to be attentive, respectful, and informative.
